The P.L.A.Y. (Play and Language for Autistic Youngsters) Project is a parent implemented, intensive early intervention program for young children with autism that is evidence-based.

Roughly 18 months to 6 years old.

Yes. Both treatment modalities are aimed at enhancing a child's development, through different means.  Notably, Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) treatments work very well in gaining academic skills, whereas Play Project focuses more on social skills.  Scroll down this page  to see chart with differences between PLAY Project and ABA.

It's one visit per month, for a 3-hour session.   Each 3-hour session is roughly divided between 1-hour of modeling, 1-hour of coaching, and 1-hour of feedback.  

It's easy!  Many parents say it's fun and simple to incorporate into busy family lives.  We provide selected videotaping of home visit interactions, followed by video analysis, written evaluations, and feedback after each visit to guide you after we leave.

We accept major credit cards and checks payable to "Home Team Consulting-PA" in advance or on the day of service.  We are an out-of-network provider and can give families a monthly billing sheet that they can submit to their insurance company for reimbursement if they have out of network coverage.
